Hobby electronics help please
I am nearing completion of a Halo helmet I'm making for my partner's 8 year old son, it's made from cardboard/resin/fibreglass/polyester car body filler & a hell of a lot of elbow grease........now for the electrics: I have installed 2 x 12v PC fans & 2 x 9v batteries all in series to give cool blasts if it gets too warm and I want to add a torch with switch in the side of the helmet. Can I run the torch in a parallel circuit to the fans, would I need a resistor because the torch is 5 white LEDs which usually runs off 4x1.5v button batteries. Electrickery was never a strong point and don't really want to go burning the poor lad's ear off! Any help would be MUCH appreciated. I have attached a couple of pics to show the circuit as I believe it and of the helmet in the very early stages for your interest. Cheers, Rob
