Crocodile clips question please.

Evening all.
Many years ago, I had a crocodile clip, similar size to those found on the ends of a " Helping hand "

This clip had a small metal spike inside its jaws, which when pressed through the wires insulation, enabled any voltage/current present to be read with a meter.

Can anyone tell me if these are still commercially available and if so, of a source of supply?

Please note, I have already been to the local Maplins store and tried searching on the net.
