Hello. Could anyone help with an automated shutter release for a digital camera.? I'd like to place the camera in the local woods to keep an eye on the badgers and deer. I'm going to join the badger protection society and wondered if this might be of use to them. Camera is VGA up to 3M with a 4 gig card, cycle time approx 5 secs. For silent operation I was thinking of a 555 and a fet. I have built small projects before, rf transmitters etc but have never used fet's or 555's.. If its only a matter of half a dozen components then could someone dream up a diagram in time for me to build it for next week. Thanks. Bob. Wigan. England.
