Hi i am trying to practise with LEDS on a "prototype" copper track board

i have a simple resistor on row one of 560 omh 1/4 watt

and a white LED , which has the specs of

LED / Lamp Size:3mm;
LED Colour:White;
Viewing Angle:30°;
Max Voltage Vf:4V;
Forward Current:20mA;
Opto Case Style:Radial;
Case Style:Radial;
Current If @ Vf:20mA;
MCD @ 25ma: 20000

Now when power is applied the LED is flashing at a slow rate , simular to a car indicator would blink

Very clever. Care to tell us how you did it without using a flashing LED?
