Projector Screen Controller
Projector Screen Controller
Hi everyone. Newbie here!
I have a project I hope someone can help me with. I have a projector screen with a 24vdc motor but I haven't got the wall switch to operate the motor and would like to build one. I am an electrician but not an electronics expert!!
I know I need to transform the 230vac to 24vac then rectify it to dc. I know I'll also need a capacitor to smooth it out and obviously an up and down button. I don't know what else I may need or the values of any components. If anyone could help as I'm sure this is very basic for someone in the know I would appreciate it very much.
Thanks in anticipation!!

Re: Projector Screen Controller
You need to know the power requirements of the motor.
Re: Projector Screen Controller
I'm not sure of the motor requirements. I have found a couple of pics of the old switchgear. Could anyone tell me how it's connected as the pcb is a little hard to follow?

Re: Projector Screen Controller
What do the two brown wires on the back of it do?
It looks like a simple AC in, DC rectifier and a change over set of contacts which feed DC either way around to the motor.
