Help for Microcontroller Code program

For my project work i need some help to continue my voting machine program. I am not microcontoller expert but just doing work for interesting. But for voting machine project i need AVR code (visual basis) where at least five selector. The selector taking vote and finally has to be a security for counting a person.
can i use RF reader? please as soon as possible help me to doing this job.
