Is there anyone out there with the knowledge and equipment to deal with electronic questions on mobility scooter systems please?

Relative has scooter which is supposed to do 4/8mph but does only 4/6mph.

Seek to have control unit reset to give the required 4/8mph.

Further detail will be provided to someone with the relevent experience.

Can anyone assist or point in the direction of someone who can please?

Thank you. Pete.

I don't have a great deal of mobility scooter experience but I understand electronics.
Uness the control unit has been re programmed it is unlikely to need to be reset.

I would guess a battery problem is more likely.

There are other possibilities but it sounds like the batt is a bit passed it.

What type of nobility scooter is it?

Try this site. http://www.disabledtraveladvise.co.uk They have a forum dealing with... Common Problems with Mobility Scooters. If you put it to them they will help you out.

Many thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately this is not a " Common problem " and it is therefore highly unlikely, that anyone on that forum would have the
technical knowledge or equipment to assist.
Thank you Pete.
