Sourcing Slider pots

Hi All,

I'm trying to source minature slider pots for an audio project. Nothing too exotic. 100K Log, 47K, 10K and 1K LIN. I've tried all the usual suspects in the UK (RS, Farnell, Arrow, Maplin etc) but with not much success.

Does anyone know of a good source of such pots, preferably in the UK but further afield if necessary? Googling hasn't helped but maybe I'm putting in the wrong search words.

TIA,

Sharpie

slider pots have sort of gone out of fashion so t hey are hard to get . You could try finding a manual on something like a Soundcraft mixer and see what components they use.

otherwise look for an electronic surplus outlet which has old stock, off the top of m y head, places like Bull electrical and Greenweld

Thanks for the insight Biffo. I'm looking at a marketable product here so surplus stock wouldn't be much use unless they have a lot at very low prices. Well worth a look but I suspect I'll be trying to source small rotaries before long.

Thanks again,

Sharpie.

smc electronics had quite a selection as I recall. They are stateside in Brocton, MA. (Not the money laundering guy!)

I am a recent customer and was quite impressed with their service. Worth looking into even if overseas.

Many thanks for that, I'll look into it. After all, it's now a very small world indeed.
