Building a remote switch for a heating controller
Building a remote switch for a heating controller
Hi
First time here so forgive any incorrect terminology please!
I need to build a remote switch containing resistors to controll a heating system as the switch is no longer made.
I can provide a link to the circuit diagram of the switch which shows the resistors and connections but i have little idea how to go about its construction and exact components required.
I am reasonably competent with a soldering iron and my job (heating install / repair etc) gives me a reasonable skill level to make and repair things as needed but this is beyond me.
I would really appreciate some help as exactly what to buy, say from maplins or similar and how to construct the switch (I actually need to make 2)
Many many thanks in anticipation of some help
