Just need this confirming. Continental two pinned TV for UK

I have a German TV with a two pin plug and I want to plug it in here in the UK.

The label on the back of TV reads: Power Supply 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 90W
The two pin plug it came with reads: 240V16A

Can I just buy a European Converter Plug with a 3 amp fuse, fit that to it and hey presto? Is 3A correct?

Or cut it off and fit a UK plug instead
